Stallone Punished Over Expendables Script
Sylvester Stallone remains punished having a author who alleges the hit movie The Expendables copies a script and short story he filed while using U.S. Copyright Office in 2006. Marcus Webb states he then distributed around Hollywood art galleries a script about mercenaries used to defeat a dictator named General Garza. Webb alleges inside the suit filed in federal court in Manhattan the script for your Expendables is “strikingly similar and from time to time identical” to his The Cordoba Caper. Webb seeks unspecified damages together with a order in the court stopping further breach by Stallone, his credited co-author David Callaham, Millennium/NuImage Films and Lionsgate. Expendables 2 is slated to start August 17, 2012. Stallone and Millennium/NuImage reps declined comment, Reuters mentioned. Lionsgate could not be showed up at.
